Support for the development of a web-based workplace based on open source software: In a pioneering joint project, leading partners from business and science are participating to strengthen the digital sovereignty of the state. The dPhoenixSuite, a digitally sovereign workplace for the public sector, was developed in cooperation with a well-known service provider for information and communication in public administration. This innovative workplace uses web-based open source modules and is continuously optimised.

The dPhoenixSuite integrates various intuitive open source programmes from different manufacturers, including access management, groupware services, online storage, office programmes, messaging and video communication. Continuous cooperation with the manufacturers ensures constant adaptation and optimisation to current requirements.

The esc team played a key role in the areas of consulting and project management. Requirements and release management were coordinated by a deputy head of department and a team consisting of four requirements managers, a release manager and a solution architect. These experts ensured a precise definition of requirements and effective release management in the project.
